Bigston Information Technologies and
Premio Computer Announce Agreement
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS - March 4, 2004 -- Bigston Information Technologies (www.bigston-it.com), a subsidiary of Bigston Corporation (www.bigston.com), and Premio Computer, Inc. (www.premiopc.com) have reached agreement to supply a coordinated hardware and software solution for complex and made-to-order manufacturing processes. The Bigston-IT software systems utilize web-based technologies with in-process bar-coding to deliver critical information to the production floor while capturing timely information about the production process. The systems can be configured to interact directly with production equipment for manufacturing execution systems (MES) or computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) applications. The Bigston IT systems have been utilized by industry-leading, world-class companies for processes as diverse as construction equipment manufacturing, electronics refurbishing and nanotechnology. Premio Computer Co. provides made-to-specification computer workstations, servers and other computer equipment to corporate customers. Premio Computer Inc. is ranked 6th in desktop sales in the U.S. dealing with Education and ranked 7th in Server sales in the dealing with the Government. Rankings are from Data Corporation (IDC) www.idc.com and GartnerGroup-Dataquest, www.gartner.com. The two organizations will provide coordinated hardware and software solutions tailored to the specific requirements and needs of their customers.
